Eric Weiler

Eric Weiler is a blues influenced guitarist /singer /songwriter who was born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia. While growing up in Huntington Eric began playing guitar professionally at the age of 12 and performed with the Oakwood Beer Band, The One Eyed Cats, Overflow and The Remedy. Within a few years Eric’s talents became well known to those in the North Eastern Region of the U.S. which gave him the opportunity to share the stage with established blues musicians as well as opening for many national acts.

Now an adopted son of Greenville, SC Eric has enjoyed tenure playing with local favorites The Dirty Audibles and The Big Jar of Jamm. He has been caught around the area jamming with many friends playing everything from rock, blues, pop, country, soul and more!

In September of 2013 he released his first solo album “New Day”. The album is a mixture of rock, catchy pop choruses, and memorable roots songs all sprinkled with a little bit of that blues guitar style he has become known for. Songs like "Home To Me" bring back a little of that 90's college rock vibe, "Falling For You" is a tip of the hat to a gentlemen we all know as Eric Clapton, "A Million Miles" takes you on a 3:00 am ride on an open highway and "Fade Away" will take you back to the old days while closing out with a touch of that southern gospel sound.

These days Eric is the lead vocalist and guitarist with the Eric Weiler Group which includes some of the regions top musicians including Joe Jones, Ryan (Dr. LuvBeatz), and Joel McCreight. Logging many miles across the Southeast from the Carolinas to Georgia, up to West Virginia and all the way down to South Florida bringing their blues rock pop sound and a show that keeps people wanting more.

In 2017 the super group J-E-T was formed with bassist Joe Jones and drummer Tez Sherard. They soon added keyboard phenomenon Aaron Bowen to round out the sound. The band quickly gained a local and regional following incorporating their own brand of soul, blues and funk into a night of unforgettable music.

During COVID, Eric and the crew assembled a who’s who of local talent to do a safe and fun live stream broadcast of shows from his living room while most venues were closed. Eric and the band hosted many musicians and bands including Evan’s Dilemma and the blues legend Wanda Johnson! For this he was honored to grace the cover of Greenville Business Magazine.

Starting in August 2020 Eric returned to writing and recording new original music starting with the single “Just Come On Over”. Two more singles “Gonna Move On” and “How Do I Fix This” continue to blaze the path up to the next album of new original tunes.
